Pregnancy Support Circle
a 6-week support circle to hold you in the sacred season of pregnancy

A circle created for you.
Pregnancy is a threshold: a time of deep change, anticipation, and becoming.
And yet, for many moms-to-be, it can also feel heavy, uncertain, or surprisingly lonely.
You may have imagined this time filled with joy, yet find yourself wondering if you’re truly ready, if you’ll know what to need, or how to ask for it.
Maybe family isn’t nearby.
Maybe friends are walking a different path.
Maybe you simply long for a place to speak openly, where your feelings are held without judgment.
Our circle is that place.
A safe, sacred space to gather with other moms, to listen, to share, to create.
Through mindfulness, journaling, art prompts, and heartfelt conversation, you’ll find calm for your body, clarity for your heart, and a circle of connection that will carry you forward as you move through the rite of passage into motherhood.

About (one of) your facilitator(s)
Leanne Morton, LPC, ATR
Art Therapist
Hi, I’m Leanne. I’m an art therapist, perinatal mental health specialist, and mama. I believe that pregnancy and motherhood are not meant to be carried alone, and that creative expression can reconnect us to the truest parts of ourselves.
For many years, I’ve walked beside women in the tender seasons of becoming—through identity shifts, healing old wounds, and finding their way back to themselves. I know how disorienting this transition can feel, and I also know the strength and beauty that rise when women gather in community.
That’s why we created the Pregnancy Support Circle. Here, you don’t have to hold it all together. You can lay down what feels heavy, share what’s real, and find comfort in knowing you are not alone. This circle is your reminder that you are seen, supported, and already enough.
✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
A pregnancy support group is a safe, supportive space where moms-to-be can share their experiences, learn emotional coping tools, and connect with others navigating pregnancy. Unlike a medical class, our circle focuses on your emotional well-being, community, and creative expression.
-
This group is designed for moms in their 2nd trimester who may feel overwhelmed, isolated, or without local family support. It’s especially helpful for first-time moms who want to prepare emotionally and mentally for motherhood while building community.
-
Not at all! The creative prompts we use are simple, gentle, and focused on expression. No art skills are required, just a willingness to try something new.
-
Childbirth classes focus on the physical aspects of labor and delivery. Our circle complements that by focusing on emotional support, mindfulness, identity shifts, and preparing for postpartum life — things that are often overlooked but deeply needed to prepare for the transition into motherhood.
-
If you cannot make it to one of the classes, we will send an email recap after each session outlining the topics covered. Additionally, you may want consider signing up for the next cohort if it fits with the timing of your pregnancy.
-
We gather in person at Family Care Collective (inside Unity Spiritual Center) in Denver. It is a welcoming, co-working + childcare + community space for families.
