Sessions usually last 50 minutes. Sessions can be adjusted to be longer or shorter depending on client needs and the availability of the therapist.

Once a week or once every other week. Frequency and consistency is important if you want to see results in your mental wellbeing. Individuals who get their therapy intensely in the beginning get better results and get better faster than those who do the same number of hours of therapy spread out over months and months—this is supported by research.
Therapy is an investment in yourself, and you are worth the investment!

It depends on your insurance. I’m not in-network with any commercial insurance providers. However, many insurance policies have out-of-network benefits so your sessions could still be covered.
Since coverage varies, I would encourage you to contact your insurance company about out-of-network benefits prior to our initial meeting. To use your out-of-network benefits, you would submit receipts to your insurance for reimbursement. Additionally, I am able to accept payment from HSA and FSA accounts.

One common misconception about art therapy is that you need to be skilled in making art to benefit from it.
In reality, the focus is on the creative process, not the final product. If you can choose a color, make a mark, draw a line, or hold a piece of clay, you're fully equipped to participate in art therapy.
I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way.
