In each Nurture Art Studio gathering, we explore a theme that lives close to the heart of motherhood through guided art-making and reflection in community. No art experience needed. Just you, some basic supplies, and a willingness to show up for yourself.
Led by Leanne Morton, licensed counselor and registered art therapist, these sessions draw on expressive arts and the simple truth that creativity can hold what words sometimes can't.
This might be for you if:
You're feeling stretched thin, burnt out, or emotionally numb
You're carrying something you haven't had space to process
You're curious about art therapy but not ready for one-on-one work
You want community with other mothers who get it
What to expect:
Arriving (5-10 min): Land together, check-in, and settle in.
Creating (35-40 min): Guided art prompt. You create at your own pace.
Sharing (10-15 min): Show your art, talk about your process, or just witness others.
Closing (5 min): Honor what was made and what was felt.
